The writing tutors talked about college writing and common student errors, they conducted a mock-tutoring session for the students, and then led a tutoring session with a high school student volunteer. Finally, they facilitated small group tutoring sessions. The students were excited to receive tutor comments about their papers.<br /><br />The visit was productive for both high school students and tutors. In response, we are pleased to extend our hours. The Writer's Studio is now open from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We also have a new group of writing tutors who are looking forward to working with you on your writing.
